Smart keypad on the front door for house access. Enter our single level residence into the fully equipped Kitchen and spacious Dining area for 6 guests. From there walk into the beautifully appointed living room with ample space to gather under the vaulted ceiling and stylish wood beams, enjoy the stunning views from the window out across the mountains by day, while relaxing in front of the gas fire by night, possibly while watching a favorite show/movie on the large Smart TV. The two King bedrooms are situated down the hall, the Master to the rear with windows facing the mountains with sunset views. The Master boasts a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom. The second King bedroom is located to the front of the house, with large closet and full bathroom (with double vanities) situated between the two bedrooms. Modern large capacity washer & dryer are also available in the laundry closet off the hallway. Outside: there is fun and relaxation to be had for everyone. Enjoy stunning views from the 6-person dining table, perhaps cook on the Gas Grill, head to the Speakeasy - The Thirsty Bear - for a pre/post dinner cocktail. Relax on the hanging chairs, play some outdoor games such as giant Jenga, giant Connect 4 or Cornhole. If that isn't enough, the hot tub and barrel sauna both offer amazing views and memories. We also have a daybed and reading nook to enjoy a good book and relax. Last but by no means least, wind down by the firepit and share some great stories of your days in the mountains with loved ones. General: We ask that you please be respectful of our property and neighbors as we have worked very hard to create a high quality, unique and fun experience for you as our guests Check-In: 4PM Check-Out: 11AM Maximum Occupancy: 6 people Smoking/vaping is PROHIBITED inside. If you do smoke outside, please clean up all remnants No Parties: this house is only for use by those who have booked it. We strictly do not allow parties of any type Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM - this is a residential area and we want to be respectful of our neighbors No pets allowed Please do not move any interior/outdoor furniture and please do not swing from hanging chairs Only toilet paper in the toilets If something breaks or is damaged, please reach out to us ASAP - it will help us address any issues quickly for you and for our future guests Indoor Gas Fireplace: DO NOT touch logs NO s’mores inside - any marshmallow / food residue can damage the gas fireplace Turn fireplace OFF after use Gas Grill: When finished using the grill, please use provided grill scraper to scrape grill grate Turn gas on before using the grill and turn gas OFF after use Hot Tub: Absolutely NO glass allowed in the hot tub. Please use metal cups provided in the kitchen if you wish to have a beverage while using the hot tub Please dry off before re-entering the house DO NOT stand or sit on the hot tub lid Turn OFF hot tub jets after use and close the hot tub cover Sauna: Turn heat OFF after use Outdoor Fire Pit: Turn gas OFF after use Trash / Recycling: Please place all trash/recycling in bins located outside next to/behind the front porch before you leave. Trash pickup is Friday. Please do not leave any trash/recycling outside on the back decks Wildlife: Wildlife is prevalent in this area - NEVER feed wildlife or get close to them Do not leave ANY food or trash outside We have wonderful cleaners who partner with us to create an outstanding atmosphere that we hope you enjoy. Please be respectful of them in their job to clean the house, and not deal with unnecessary trash or mess left behind. If there is any damage or excessive mess incurred during your stay, we must hold your group responsible.

Nous avons séjourné dans plusieurs cabanes à Cherry Log et celle-ci fait partie des plus agréables. Tout était conforme aux photos. La cuisine était bien équipée et tous les meubles étaient confortables. Les vues sont spectaculaires. Nous avons adoré toutes les terrasses et avons apprécié passer du temps sur chacune d'elles. We have stayed at several cabins in Cherry Log and this is among the nicest. Everything was as pictured. The kitchen was well stocked and all the furniture was comfortable. The views are spectacular. We loved all the decks and enjoyed spending time on each.

The sauna and hot tub were great to enjoy after exploring Blue Ridge and the surrounding area. The views of the mountains from the cabin are beautiful. The hosts were responsive and provided clear information and instructions for check in and check out as well the use of all the amenities. Overall, Bear’s Nook is the perfect getaway spot and we can’t wait to return!

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux et paisible avec nos amis proches. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'espace de vie de plain-pied ainsi que les nombreux équipements extérieurs sur plusieurs niveaux. La vue était à couper le souffle. Il y avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin pendant notre séjour. Nous devons cependant mentionner que la réception mobile est irrégulière. Nous n’hésiterions pas à revenir. Merci pour ce superbe séjour. We had a wonderful and peaceful stay with our close friends. We especially liked the single level living space with the many multilevel outdoor amenities. The view was stunning. It had everything we needed during our stay. We should mention, however, that cell service is spotty. We wouldn’t hesitate to return again. Thanks for a great stay.

The Bears Nook était exactement ce que nous recherchions pour célébrer un événement important en famille ! Les lits étaient très confortables et nous avons adoré que tout soit de plain-pied à l'intérieur, tandis qu'à l'extérieur il y avait trois niveaux d'activités pour profiter de la vue incroyable. Le nombre d'étoiles visibles la nuit était spectaculaire. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. The Bears Nook was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate a milestone for our family! The Sauna, HotTub, gas fire pit and outdoor swings and lounger were the perfect combo for relaxation. Easy check in and responsive hosts. Very comfortable beds and we loved that everything was on one floor inside but outside had 3 levels of things to do while enjoying the amazing view. The amount of stars you get to see at night was spectacular. We had a great stay.

Alex et Elizabeth ont été des hôtes formidables ! Nous avions largement assez d'espace et la cabane était exactement comme décrite. Les environs sont magnifiques et c'est assurément un voyage que nous n'oublierons jamais. Je recommande vivement cet endroit !
