We have stayed at several cabins in Cherry Log and this is among the nicest. Everything was as pictured. The kitchen was well stocked and all the furniture was comfortable. The views are spectacular. We loved all the decks and enjoyed spending time on each.

We had a fantastic stay and will absolutely come back. The house is spacious, beautifully set up, and very well equipped—perfect for a larger group, especially with kids. There was plenty to keep everyone entertained, with the hot tub, mini golf, popcorn machine and old-school arcade games all being huge hits.
The location is stunning and made for a really relaxing break, loads to do in the area including hiking, water parks, vineyards and petting zoos. The hosts were excellent throughout—great communication and very helpful. Overall, a brilliant property that made our trip easy and memorable.

We had such a wonderful stay at Bear’s Nook cabin! The interior is beautifully designed and cozy.
The sauna and hot tub were great to enjoy after exploring Blue Ridge and the surrounding area. The views of the mountains from the cabin are beautiful. The hosts were responsive and provided clear information and instructions for check in and check out as well the use of all the amenities.
Overall, Bear’s Nook is the perfect getaway spot and we can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay with our close friends. We especially liked the single level living space with the many multilevel outdoor amenities. The view was stunning. It had everything we needed during our stay. We should mention, however, that cell service is spotty. We wouldn’t hesitate to return again. Thanks for a great stay.

The Bears Nook was exactly what we were looking for to celebrate a milestone for our family! The Sauna, HotTub, gas fire pit and outdoor swings and lounger were the perfect combo for relaxation. Easy check in and responsive hosts. Very comfortable beds and we loved that everything was on one floor inside but outside had 3 levels of things to do while enjoying the amazing view. The amount of stars you get to see at night was spectacular. We had a great stay.

My family and I are were more than pleased with Alex and Elizabeth's place. I would say it exceeded our expectations. Everything was as advertised, and everything worked properly which is not always the case in larger homes (hot tub, heating, bathrooms, TV's, appliances, games in game room, etc.). The home was spotless, updated, and very comfortable. The drive to Camelback Ski Resort is about 3 minutes and the mountain is in clear view from the home. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Alex & Elizabeth were great hosts!!l We had more than enough space and the cabin was just as described. The surrounding area is beautiful and it was definitely a trip we’ll never forget. I highly recommend this place!

Amazing house for families! Had a ton of activities inside for us to do while we were there! Special room in basement with toys for toddlers was great! popcorn machine was the perfect touch! kitchen was stocked! beds were as pictured! highly recommend this home for a fun weekend! never felt bored even when weather was bad and we couldn't ski as planned!

We had an amazing stay here. Spotless house with plenty of room, Extremely well decorated and cozy. The kitchen had everything you could need to cook and the location was very close to camelback and a ton of outlets, you can see people skiing and snowboarding on the slopes out the back window. It was perfect for a weekend with friends. Alex and Elizebeth were stand out hosts who responded promptly, were understanding and accommodating. We would absolutely recommend renting this house, or any property from them. We can’t wait to come back!
